Fight To End Cancer 2025 Delivers a Knockout Night for Cancer Research

The iconic Old Mill Inn Toronto was transformed into a dazzling celebration of hope, strength, and solidarity as the Fight To End Cancer (FTEC) 2025 Charity Gala lit up the city on May 31, 2025. After more than a decade of uniting communities to raise funds for world-class cancer research, this year’s event once again proved: Defeat Is Not An Option.

A Powerful Evening of Purpose and Punch

Twelve extraordinary individuals stepped into the ring—not just to box, but to battle for a world without cancer. Their courage and determination helped raise critical funds for the Guided Therapeutics (GTx) Program at the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, one of the world’s leading cancer research institutions.

Guests arrived in style for a red-carpet cocktail reception, followed by a gourmet dinner, spectacular Las Vegas–style entertainment, and a lineup of Olympic-style boxing matches that kept everyone on the edge of their seats. Hosted by the ever-inspiring Angie Seth, the night was a true tribute to community, courage, and the cause.

The Fighters Who Made It Happen

Eight months of sweat, sacrifice, and training paid off last night as the FTEC2025 Fight Team delivered unforgettable performances in the ring. Among them:

  • Kristin Smith-Zuccala, making her long-anticipated comeback after her original 2020 fight was postponed.
  • Jaco Crouse, a mining industry CFO who showed the same precision and strength in the ring as he does in the boardroom.
  • A remarkable mix of professionals, survivors, and passionate fundraisers—all united by the mission to end cancer in our lifetime.

Fighting for More Than Glory

Each fighter brought a personal story to the ring—fighting in honor of lost loved ones, in celebration of survivorship, or simply to be a part of something bigger. Their shared purpose: raise funds, raise awareness, and inspire action.

And they did just that. With roaring cheers, moving tributes, and powerful punches, FTEC2025 brought together hundreds in support of cancer research that saves lives.

A Record-Breaking Night

Thanks to the fighters, guests, and sponsors—including Landscape Plus Ltd., Grafton Apparel Ltd., and APEX Mobile Media—the FTEC is closer to reaching its $4 million fundraising milestone. Every dollar raised brings it one step nearer to a world free of cancer.

About Fight To End Cancer (FTEC)

Since its launch in 2012, Fight To End Cancer has raised over $3 million for the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, with a growing community of ambassadors, sponsors, and volunteers driving our mission forward. The annual gala is our flagship event—but our fight continues year-round.

Let’s Keep the Momentum Going
