The Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (POGO) held its big sexy POGO PJ Party 2024 on February 29 at the Symes in Toronto to raise money to make a difference in the lives of children and their families. POGO provides ongoing advanced care for children with cancer through their innovative database and research. It is a unique and impactful pediatric cancer network that is a model for care worldwide.
Creative PJs with an Animal Theme:
Guests put on their coolest satins and flannels with an animal for a great night of entertainment, food and drinks all for a worthy cause. There was a great live auction as well as a silent auction.
This POGO PJ Party raised over $366,000 to help POGO continue the important work it has done for over three decades – helping children with cancer. The funds are also used “ to support survivors with customized school and work counselling when their disease or its treatment has left them with learning challenges, and fund promising research that examines the impact of childhood cancer and its treatment.” [pogo.ca]
